Description : Série incomplète de sept positifs photographiques sur verre (8x8cm) non coloriés. Chaque positif, doublé d'un verre mince de protection maintenu à l'aide de pointes, est enchassé dans un passe-vue de bois (100 x 177 mm env.). La surface de projection (62 x 50 mm env.) est délimitée par un cache de papier aiguille noir. Sur la surface interne du cache figure, sur papier blanc, une légende imprimée, ainsi que des mentions utiles, manuscrites en écriture anglaise : "By permission of James Nisbet & Co from "The Prodigal Son". Illustrated by H.C. Selous. PB. L'ordre de projection des plaques est indiqué sur une étiquette manuscrite d'origine, collée sur le chassis de bois (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11). Ces numéros ne coïncident pas avec les numéros d'indice.
